Exhaust vents cannot work properly without adequate intake, and intake can be blocked by insulation or framing details. More vents are not always better if the system is unbalanced.

Warm, humid interior air entering a cold attic can condense on cold surfaces. Bathroom fans, kitchen exhaust and other moisture sources should terminate where required rather than dumping into an attic.
